Cox cable rates up in Williamsburg

It was rather interesting to recently find out that Cox cable did increase their rates in Williamsburg. I am not sure if there was an increase in other cities and counties, but the increase for Basic and expanded Cable TV in Williamsburg was 3 dollars a month. Not really that big of an increase, but enough to be noticeable. Cox has had a monopoly for many years in the Wlliamsburg, JCC area. Especially in the outlying counties there is not an opportunity to get satelite service due to Tree cover. Maybe, in those areas Cox will get some competition in the near future. By, Curtis griffin
