Memorial Day weekend in Hampton Roads is being celebrated by the Umoja Festival, which promotes cultural diversity and unity. Bring the entire family out to experience wonderful music, food and fun. Be sure to stop by the various kiosks and check out the merchandise the vendors have to offer. This year some big name stars are expected to perform so go ahead and make that trip through the HRBT, the M&M, the downtown tunnel or even across the Jordan or High Rise Bridge. Admission is free.

I look forward to seeing you there!
