What makes Christmas and New Year’s better than friends, family, and savings? How about owning a home? The holiday season is a cheerful time spent with family, but for those of us with families
A Mothers Tribute in Williamsburg
It has been said That there is nothing stronger than a Mothers Love for her child. Indeed, it is The type of Love that Lasts a Lifetime. On September 9, 2010, Jeanne Weaver and her family were notified That their son Todd a Lieutenant in the Army was killed in Afghanistan. The pain and hurt the Weaver's felt must of seemed unbearable at times. After Christmas of that year Mrs. Weaver found solace in painting. She created 17 paintings, and titled them Losing Todd A Mother's Journey. The exhibit is currently on Display until October 23, 2011 at the Muscarelle Museum, The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA.
To the Weaver Family, Although I only knew Todd from watching Football games which he played quarterback on with my sons. I just want to Thank You you for sharing such a Good Man with the rest of us. My son is currently in the Military, as are many of Todd's classmates. Though they are all over the world, I feel that I can tell you Thank you, again and We Will Never Forget.
