Determining the Value of your property

It is important to know as a homeowner that the value of your home is determined by the homes that have sold in your neighborhood within the last 6 months.  These are the guidelines appraisers use when determining your homes value.  They use homes that are comparable to yours.  They will try to find comparables that are similar in size with the same amount of bedrooms and baths.  Instead of paying an appraiser 300-400 dollars, you can ask a realtor to complete a comparable market analysis.  The CMA is not as detailed as an appraisal, but it will give you a pretty close estimate of the value of your home.  If you are looking to sell your home in the near future and would like to determine your home's value, please contact me at your convenience.
