The French Open enters its semifinal stages at Roland Garros in France. It is considered one of the big grand slam tournaments in professional tennis (some consider it even more important than Wimbledon). The semifinal stage will see what a lot consider to be the best player ever in Roger Federer vs. the current best player in the world Novak Djokovic. Federer holds the record for most grand slam titles won in a career and he is still an active player. Djokovic however has been on a tear all year long tallying up a 42+ match game winning streak. He has a perfect record for the year of 2011. It's old guard vs. new kid on the block and the winner will likely play French Open master Rafael Nadal who is currently the number one player in the world. Djokovic can take that over with a grand slam title at the French Open. The tennis world is anxious to see how this grand slam tournament unfolds.
